Going to cut up the sedan...no more you'll ruin it..it's such a neat little car..nobody will want to buy it..nobody will like it.. Cut it into a 50s hot rod shop delivery truck..shorten it..lower it...chop it till you can't see out. Want to help?.....better hurry..
I don't think I've ever had one of my junkers to 100..even down hill..but it's worth a try. Tomorrow about 4am..when the locals are all in the donut shop, I know of a real long hill with a wrecker service based at the bottom..perfect. Let you know how it goes...or check the obits??
Never thought much about it..guess because I like to do it ALL. Lots or rules around anymore..wives..bosses..doctors..even the kids. But in my shop it's my way. I know my builds would be more acceptable to the public if I got a a little help sometimes especially with the welding..paint...
Thanks. Coupe is not legal. Wanted to keep it real..important to me...but still drive it all over. You can do that in small town Oklahoma. Good luck to you old man on your search. Roundy builds are fun...just rats with numbers.
Build one. Crushed $100 body..free butched roundy frame..cast off wheels and tires. Cut up my burn barrel for hood..patch panels..swiped my wifes chairs out of her flower garden...honest. Quart of black tempra paint...and lots and lots of pop rivets. Send photos..
Thanks. Coupe is yard art..no motor..built entirerly out of donated and discarded parts with the exception of a quart of black tempra paint..$5.97..hosed down to desired patina. Photo is of coupe last year.
What I was saying..or trying to say was rats really do have a history. Built with junkyard parts mostly by junkyard employees in the early 50s. I don't have an answer for your question. Define a rat for me please..
