    Clear valve covers

A clear carburetor would be awesome to see. I am definitely aware of the structural properties of the rebar. Learned a lot about steel properties in an engineering class I took a while back. I gusseted the linear portion of them with 1/4 plate steel all the way from frame mount to engine mount...

    Clear valve covers

I didn't even think to make slots instead of holes. The motor mounts were a creation I thought of while I was laying in bed. They are re-bar that is gusseted and welded like crazy. Probably not another set like them in the world haha. I dont know how long they will last, but you are right kids...

    Clear valve covers

Went to Lowes for the plexi glass. Bought the cheapest set of valve covers I could find. Total cost $22.00. I cut the top out with a dremel and then used the cut out portion for a template. I added about 1/8 around the edge of the cut out part. Then drilled small holes and got really small...

    Why Zombie Cats Rule

How could anyone invest time, money, and effort into a ridiculous "invention" like that? What a terrible idea. Watch this video. It must be a cats reaction to the pet spa video. HAHA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_S5cXbXe-4&feature=related

Awesome step by step transmission and rear end rebuild dvd

I agree, I thought they were mystical until I watched the video. Dang they are actually not that bad. I could see that with organization and going slow, just about anyone could do it. I will become picture post happy once I get to work on it again!!!

Awesome step by step transmission and rear end rebuild dvd

Thanks guys! Like you said take your time. It can't be too cosmic. Does anyone have an opinion or experience for which rebuild kit to buy? I am just looking to drive around town and gas on it here and there so I dont need a race kit. Also going to change torque converter. Any inputs on...

Awesome step by step transmission and rear end rebuild dvd

First off I am by no way shape or form affiliated with this company or trying to make sales for them. http://www.badshoeproductions.com With that said I think this site is an awesome learning tool for individuals that want to learn how to rebuild transmission or rear ends themselves. He is...

    Advanced carb tuning

Old Iron: I will just go down 2 at a time and see where it gets me. I think if I use a little common sense I will be fine. The only thing I have had anyone else do on the rod thus far is cut and balance the drive shaft. SgtPontiac: I have mechanical secondaries. Would the idea of a restrictor...

    Advanced carb tuning

I too fear its too big, but hope to make it work. I have #77 on the primary side and #79 on the secondaries. I just don't want to go to far and screw something up. If I go two sizes at a time how will I tell if I have gone to far? I assume plug color?? The power valves appear to be fine...

    Advanced carb tuning

Intro Sorry about that gentlemen. It is my first post. I have been building a 51 Ford F1. When I first started it was just a cab and frame. I mounted the cab, fabricated floor boards, built a front end, etc... This is my first time doing anything other than general maintenance. I am just...
