Couple of my hot rod on the road in the Philippines a few years back. Amazingly there was little of the usual psycho traffic about.

Got mine welded up, still building the shifter frame though.

Got me hips delivered. Still got a whole bunch of work to do on the shifter framework, and the rest of the car.....

I just bought a set of these off this guy on eBay, being shipped to the U.K. as well, about $130 altogether. I shall use one for a gear shift, and maybe some other odds and sods. I like weird stuff. :D

I think some pretty solid forearms would be essential when firing that bad boy. :eek:

I reckon someone saw a Watts linkage, misunderstood it.....and copied it.....

This is a good idea. Time consuming initially, but it doesn’t have to be a work of art and will give a damn good idea the general layout of the whole car. I once built a Zeed frame, to ride really low, and halfway through the build had to cut it in half and change it, as the exhausts needed to...

The gas hides in the seams, inside rust, porosity, lurking, ready to mix with air and ignite at the slightest bit of heat...... :(

Cutting and welding small pieces together to get bends seems to be in vogue in the motorcycle custom world at the moment. Seems to work well enough.

Do you want to raise and lower, or just add some extra spring? If it is the former you may need to remove some leafs out of the spring to allow it to move, and then you may need to fit ladder bars or similar to stop axle wrap under braking. What exactly will the air bags be for, is the key...

That seems to be the way it is working. This one is not really new, she was one of my first ever girlfriends, 38 years ago, but we have always been close and kept in touch one way or another ever since. :D

It has shocked me to the core how quickly life can change. I went from happily retired, living in paradise in the Philippines, to single, relatively broke and living in a duplex in England, in the space of a few months. [S But I still have my old workshop in England. :cool: I’ve been building...

Thanks guys. :) It is hard to believe how exciting and interesting life has become once again. One cannot survive without ones mojo.

This is where I think I am heading with it, but without the tall and ‘knees in face’ seating position.
