    I shortened a long bed S-10 frame by 30"...not to hard to do to lenghten it...the section under the cab, up front near the fire wall you'll see where the front section goes from "box" to "c" channel...thats the BEST place to start for any cutting...make sure you measure 100 times, keep notes...

    Windshield help...

    Klien-Dikert told me they dont do that kind of work, Auto glass specialists told me the same...I didnt think that a plain 'ol glass shop would have laminated safety glass...I'll look into that. I dont need any radius' cut in it...just a plain 'ol rectangle. Thanks again guys!

    Father/Sons '82 S-10 Roadster...

    Rex, Yeah, the S-10 is pretty easy to get around here but its the same as anywhere, most people think their stuff is made of gold. I picked this one up at a local service station (the owner didnt feel it was worth fixin, and dropped off the title). I think I stole it for $300!!!!

    I can't wait to get mine finished. Driving everyday, everywhere!!! Work, store, take the kids to school, Heck- my oldest son wants to take it for prom!!! Oh yeah, its winter in the mid-west...thank goodness for heated garage!!! But, MAN, I cant wait for spring and the first test drive!!!!
