moc up pix Not much work done lately,but do have some new pix

rat fink,I use the ladder bar set up on my chassis' all the time. Made in the USA,seen cars go 10 seconds with em. Not a issue. GRB, the heads are 1958 staggered bolt,block is a 1958 too has the side mounts.

tires step 9 step # 9 got the new tires mounted up 5.00x16 ribbed Firestones up front 7.00x16 Firestone deluxe champion in rear original Ford steel wheels painted up all nice. Will be running 1940 trim rings and caps

Thanks for asking. I will have some updates this week. Had to borrow the front end from under it last week... And getting the real tires and wheels mounted today

step 7) fixing the bed.. and reinforcing.. figuring out mounting..not finished yet. 2x4 as a temp.brace. going across the back with some 12 gauge C channel I had left over from another project. no fancy tools in home garage,5" grinder with cut off wheel favorite tool for fitting..got it close...

who picked out the u-bolts? I'm guessing they will be too wide to hold your front spring in place.

step 6) remove stock floor. need to trim firewall to trans area for clearence Drilling out old Ford rivets is fun.

I was thinking about the 30 pick up cab. Good point on the smell when hot.I could see that being a issue with it sprayed on as a headliner.. Underside,no big deal.3M Body Schutz been using for years. Maybe I'll just roll the windows down and turn up the radio

Has anyone used spray on bedliner inside their body? Wondering how that would work out.. Inside the qp,kick panels,roof Instead of lizard skin ($) Maybe the roll on kit type...? I know the spray can sound deadner stuff ain't worth a damn. Experience? thoughts?
