Update
INSTALLED NEW STEERING COLUMN ,BOX AND AM MAKING intermediate shaft. went back to scrap yard to get a shifter and cable setup and the cab over i was going to pick it from was gone. Good thing i know where a bunch of old scrapped school buses are.
update 52 Dodge
I'm:cool: working on the dash, steering column, steering box and glass. i will post picts soon. Too cold out there for long periods of work. The coldest February ever with an average temp of 10 deg. most days start at -10 and rise to around 15 to 20. BRrrrrrrrrrr.
cold sucks
i haven't worked much on the truck as of late due to ball shiverin cold that's settled down here in upstate N.Y. Going to start up again this weekend. ( heat wave on the way high of 40 deg.)
update 52 Dodge
Due to snow and cold i decided to take the doors off and work on rust in side. Cut out ruff bondo patches and made some panels out of 16 gauge i had left over from floor rebuild.
Ahhh you mean like a Buick engine.... Right.
Just F-ing with you blue oval man, if it was made in the U.S.A. its all good.. as far as i'm concerned. ( exceptions are Ferrari, Bugatti and Ariel Atom.):D

sorry i haven't posted in a while but snow has been falling Finished the throttle and brake pedal and lowered the front end too.

floor metal thk ???
i just went completed a floor on a 52 dodge. find my post in builds section ( 1952 dodge pick up rat resto.) 16 gauge steel is thick enough for your floor and thick enough to bolt thru. and not pull out under impact. A mig welder makes things easy. I recommend and use .023...
