    I'm a card carrying member of the Impala club and used to go to the meets all over before I got too old. I've seen some done up pretty nice and running in the 11's at the track....but I've still never wanted one. :)

    I wanted the SS too but cheaped out and bought the Challenger...426 RT/SE, nice as they came, but still not as nice as the Chevelle SS. I don't remember what I paid but probably not that much. Oh, and I was in Vietnam at the time....bought it at the PX and picked it up when I got home.

    First over 100 was my first car, a 1950 Olds Rocket 88. First over 150 was my '66 427 Corvette. I sure miss them both! :)
