i dont post here much...but....i think stance is almost perfect.....a box that is too short looks dumb....maybe a few inches less than the length of the cab looks best.... and i think your motor can come back and then front axle can come back the same distance
leave the cab where it is
im confused help me.....i luv the look of traditional hot rods...now im building a fenderless 1940 chevy pickup......building the frame and am ready to buy some tires....i have about 650 budgeted for tires.....now here is the problem....so far i have bought old 17inch artillery rims for the...
well that was what i was hoping to hear.....i am assuming that running on the highway with this setup wont be too bad then.....not that im sure it couldnt be better, but it is what it is...
Hey guys....just starting to question my choices again....can anyone tell me how a setup like this would run....I am building a 40 chevy pick up...chopped fenderless, small bed.....my drive train is..
74 nova 350 with a "mild" cam and edlebrock performer intake...what carb should I run? not...
thanks for the reply s guys one last question...
I have a nice but old delta 10" table saw...110v or 220v....can i throw a 10" cutting wheel in that to cut stock n flat steel??
Alright...finally got the shop going with some basic tools.....bought a 12" three wheel bandsaw with the intention of maybe cutting stock and steel brackets with it...bought a brand new "metal" blade for it...it doesnt make a dent in any kind of steel...its 18tpi......did i get the wrong blade...
oh my god thats awesome...thanks...trying to find parts...the only thing wrong with it is that the brass nut with the point dosent seem to touch the shift patern on the bracket...it was a gift from my uncle...think I'l be able to fix it?
well looks like the idea has gone south...picked up a set of 17 inch artillery wheels and im gonna run 16s in the back.....was hoping the get some scrub line clearence.....now im just gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope i dont get a flat or i ll be sleding
no they only make the 5 nolt ones as far as i know....i was gonna match a different hub to the front axle and get a dodge rear end for the rear....but without the tires the idea looks like its goin down the drain....maybe some 17 inch artillery rims?? 20 inch fords? i dont know....
i could run new school tires but want the tread and look.....maybe a new set of rims is in order....anything else that would go with the 6 bolt chevy pattern in a tall rim?
