    Getting Old isn't for sissies

When our dad passed, my brother said the smartest thing that I’ve ever heard fall out of his mouth. “We ain’t sad for him, we’re sad for us.”

the Sinister T- 5 day build

You either need good brakes or a good horn. But, let me tell ya, it takes one hell of a horn to make an oak tree move out of your way!

What Did Ya Get Done This Weekend?

Been working on the girder for my new bike project. Trees are almost done, legs are almost done, gotta order material and learn to cut single point threads to make my pivot bolts. Would have been cheaper to buy one! But, what fun is that, then my bike would look like too many others.

Have you had a chance to get this up and running? If it works as advertised, it would be an awesome addition to the shop!

    Rat Rod of the Day!

The skulls are tequila bottles. The hood and front end are a little too over the top for me. When you weld S@#! to your car just for shock factor (saw blades), I'm out.

Has anyone used one of these?

We looked into it on an industrial level (not this company in particular), sent them samples of what we do, and waited for results. Oddly, they never got back to us and have quit replying to our emails. I'd call bullsh#$, I've wasted $40 on dumber stuff, might be worth a try,

    pin striping at home..

They do work, but it is obvious that you used one. the lines have a "texture" to them and are not constant width. Neither are brush pinstripes, but these will be choppy. That being said, they work and don't look too bad from a bit of distance. Striping with a brush is an art that not everyone...

School me on suicide door kits

The hinge pins must be in line for the doors to swing smoothly. I removed the hinge pins and replaced it with a threaded rod, then braced the snot out them. There would be nothing wrong with the kind that has the brace. I don't remember the brand. I found the ad in a mini truck magazine. Leave...

School me on suicide door kits

I have done it 1.5 times (only 1 door on a truck). some things I have learned: Install the hinges as close to the outer skin as possible. install the door in as close to the correct spacing as possible with the adjustment at its bottom. leave all of the adjustment to the "up" direction, as the...
