    Also meant to mention, I'm wondering how much of a drop I should do. I want it as low as possible, but still driveable without bags.

    Working on a '49 Chevy truck, s10 frame, not sure on engine yet. This my first build. I'll have great help from my boss Jeff who has/ has had more rat rods then I can count. I'll be asking a TON of questions I'm sure, and I'll be grateful for any help whatsoever. Thanks !

    49 Chevy truck/ s10 frame/ straight 6 HELP !

    Getting ready to do a '49 Chevy truck with an s10 frame under it. Does anyone know if the original straight 6 will fit okay in the s10 frame ? I'm thinking it may be too long. Also wondering how low I can go and still be driveable. I want to go as low as possible with a normal s10 lowering kit...
