    Thank you all for the Insight I know double shear is best I'm just having a hard time making everything fit between the frame and steering arm swing, and still have room for suspension travel laterally. I will now stop procrastinating and rebuild the needed brackets.

    I'm going to be running a 4.3 with an eventual 5.3 swap. The boxing plates are 1/8". Will that be stought enouf without full boxing?

    I have started to box my frame and am looking for some experienced insight. Is there any problem with leaving gaps open so that I can run my brake and fuel lines inside?

    I'm working on a 29 chevy. I've removed the parallel leafs up front and I want to build hair pins. the problem is that i would like to keep the steering box in the stock location however to do this the radius rods need to be 24" or less. Is this to short for average articulation?

    That was the thought to go down to the running boards. But is where I'm stuck is how to section the wheel opening up and make it stay even and look good down low in front of the wheel
