    With the quarter elliptical spring set up it looks like there getting away with only a upper control arm...that could keep things simple......Thanks guy's

    So if you reverse the order of springs under to over the main leaf it would change rebound of spring? I want the spring out front look I just need to do it right and not all goofy and dangerous.. So like this?

    Talked to the local police yesterday about the VIN verification process on building a custom vehicle in the state of WV. I just did one on a homebuilt trailer that I built for my teardrop. Seems to be about the same process and not all that hard to get through....Moving on

    mounting a short 3500 lbs trailer spring in the frame looks about as good as I've seen, anyone see a problem with this method?

    I love the low budget stuff, my biggest fear is building something "to nice to drive" I'm way to old to let stuff sit in the garage for fear of hurting it.... Build it, beat it, fix it .....Repeat

    Since you guy's are Hot rodders I thought I'd share this with you too. Over in Europe everything is unibody so they do things a little different. I read a thread were a guy put a old bmw on a miata chassis to get fuel inj, power steering power brakes the easy way...So I had an old jeep cherokee...

    Hey, I'm gonna be starting a Jeep rat rod out of a couple JK tubs I have and all the left over parts of a J10 build. Don't wanna scrap it so I'm gonna try to put it all together.
