Wow its been a while since I posted this sorry ran across it in a Google search I have put a windshield since this post and no color on the title. The front spring is a trailer spring its a 1000lb rated its a little stiff but does the job had it up to about 85 mph. after some friction shocks...

long time no see Well it's been just under a year since my last post should have it running for this summer Here's a couple of next pics of random things its fom my phone so we will see how it works.

the roof was a little tweeked from years of abuse the metal was a LITTLE stretched. We had to make a choice with limited time ( had to be home for work on Monday ) so we improvised braced every few inches than tacked in the filler peice

I also got the steering shaft shortened u cant really tell in this photo i will have to try to upload one later but u can see my kick ass free suicide knob ! I also got my gas tank mounted in the bed started that's it for now i will try to post more if i get a chance to work on it let me...

side note been meaning to build some of these clamps so i did i need to thin out the middle pieces of metal to narrow the gap but i think they will work great for when i chop the top

more steering well got the shaft all snugged in but i now need to shorten it up as you can see

thank you Gastrick, I appreciate everyone's input a lot. my pedal assembly is going to be the hardest thing to do on this thing because I plan on building the whole thing myself, and let me tell you what building some of this stuff from scratch when you have never done it before can really get...

well now that I have got the floor almost done. I just need to do a few fineness things on it. so i have moved on to steering this is what i have so far its all just tacked on right now i plan on putting some gussets on the bottom that will all come when i tear down to finish welding up...
