    Gasser & Altered fotos!!!

Thanks Bob.... Yes, it was a lot of fun. It was a time when almost no one had a sponsor and we all just raced for the fun of it. We got a little tow money and won a trophy once in awhile. Everyone helped each other with their cars and loaned each other spare parts etc.. Big difference today!!!

    Gasser & Altered fotos!!!

E/G and C/G were classes of race cars back then. It was figured on total weight of car and cubic inch of engine. Classes were from A/ Gas (Big engine and light car) to as low as F/Gas or G/Gas etc....(if you had a heavy car with a 6 or 4 cylinder engine.)

    "Field Find"

I found this close to an old mining town in North Idaho. It was near a turn of the century cemetery in a creek bottom that was all brushed in. You could not see it unless you were right on top of it. I looked around and there were no other parts that I could see. The funny thing was that the...

    New Guy from Idaho

Howdy...I have been retired from the State of Idaho for 11 years. I have been into cars for most of my life. Probably like most of the people here I have had several "nice" cars in the past but unfortunately sold them. I had a 55 Chev convertible, I built a "C" Gas 34 Ford 5-window coupe that...
