    I Have No Self Control

I have the same disease, although I am a bit younger. My only hope is that my friends stop my wife from selling off the stuff for what I told her we bought it for, on my death. :)

1936 chevy low cab build 1.5T

Ok, so I read all the pages... although I skimmed most people's comments. Very nice build. Got to love the end, fixing all the little gremlins. My 68 GMC is currently ****ing oil all over my garage after a few dyno sessions, one cooling fan didn't work, the intercooler pump's intermittent...

    408 CI Lq9 (LS style) into a 68 GMC C15 - Sure

Sure. First pic is what we started with, then paint in my shop, then some interior work and few more drive way shots. JFG455 and I did most of the build. This is after I paid 2 other folks to paint it, it just wasn't right, so I did it myself.

    408 CI Lq9 (LS style) into a 68 GMC C15 - Sure

This is an LS2 (that got a different intake) with a dual carb intake, 2 500 CFM Carters and a hood scoop. Note the intake's just sitting on a bare block with heads. I ended up with a different intake set up, but still like the look of this one. You can get separate timing controllers too.

    408 CI Lq9 (LS style) into a 68 GMC C15 - Sure

Although we're still working on it, it dyno'd 872rwhp today on pump gas. I need to add another fuel pump and a bigger alternator...

    *Caution* Engine porn!

Hard to believe it's been 8 months since the motor was finished and I am still dinking around with the Camaro shell. [S I am still thinking about a different car for this motor/trans.

    1952 Chevy COE ramp truck

Vehicle ADD often kicks us both in the arse. Ooh shiny happened. He got a blower for the LS style motor sitting on the floor in his shop and he's had the Chevelle forever. :) The GMC will happen, once he tears the motor out of the Chevelle ROFL. So it helps us both to have 9 or more projects...

    1952 Chevy COE ramp truck

Drinking that Not Your Father's Root Beer will be fun. We also have to stick the RPM motor into something. I go back and forth on the Camaro. This Chevy will stay RRR though.

    408 CI Lq9 (LS style) into a 68 GMC C15 - Sure

A side shot, with the 2" cog belt drive that had to come off... every time the blower would kick into max boost, it would rip the alternator off the head.

    408 CI Lq9 (LS style) into a 68 GMC C15 - Sure

So, we redid a 70 GMC C15 that my father bought new in 71 as a hold over. Over the years, it's been our shop truck for the auto restoration business. It's one of the reasons I get along so well with JFG455. We're both car nuts with fathers who were car nuts. Long story short, JFG455 talked me...

1950 dodge truck tribute to my son

Want a fast ratio (Delphi 600) steering box for it? I bought it for my Camaro build, but went with a rack instead.

I didn't know about this one... I think you're holding out on me.

I'll take them, if you still have them? Not sure what I am going to put them on, but too awesome to pass up.

Rocking. I am that friend that he got this from, glad to know it's back to cruising.

    1952 Chevy COE ramp truck

Seems that John and I like swapping projects around... we just horse traded a bit. He needed a blower (like a hole in the head) I had and I needed a cab like a hole in my head. I am thinking this cab will go on a military chassis I have along with a flat top sleeper I have from a Pete 359 I...
