So I'm using a d50 frame under my 55 Dodge pickup and the state patrol said before covering up the VIN on the frame to give them a call and they'll come out so I can register it.........My question is that is there a vin stamped on a 1980 d50 frame and if so where?[S

So I have a 1980 dodge d 50 chassis that I am dropping my 55 dodge pickup body onto and I long ago converted from 4 banger to a 318 and in doing so I have exceeded the coil springs ability to keep the nose up and off the bump stops.......so my question is what are my options? Different springs...

So I've had this D50 for quite awhile and after blowing the head gasket on the 2.6 I decided a 318 swap was in order but then I decided that my 55 Dodge would be nice on this frame so here it is....will be a slow build start original 4 banger 318 installed and running pulled body off frame...

So I built me a box on my car trailer and filled it with goodies......its a cheap harbor junk but hoping it works out
