I tried to do a 4 link rear end assembly in my current heap and I just could never get it to sit square in the chassis no matter what I did...finally called the fine folks at Posie Spring company and bought a leaf spring set up...kinda hard to screw that up...and don't know...the right side...

Keeping track of all the junk with wheels on them...can be a daunting task...I just picked up a 1948 Willys flat fender...hoping that will keep me busy for a little while....fix things that need to be fixed...no restorations for me...new fuel lines...brake lines too...lots of metal work of...

So I was on the road for a month...so now I get back and I start nosing around the Jalopy in the garage...blew a couple more fuses on it...called for help...we actually got it to turn over last night...probably the first time in probably 30 years...I was stoked... So....ordered more parts...went...

Boy do I agree with that statement...if I never had to drive again I would be ok with that...I hope they have self driving cars perfected before I leave this realm. I would love to punch in an address and the vehicle drives you there...now that would be fun...sorta like the old Star Trek...

Yeah Smalls...I was thinking the same thing...I took stuff apart (tranny hump panels) and decided to try the pedal modification first....if that does not work...I will be cutting into the tranny hump panels for sure...I welded the first panel and I might be cutting that back out if my feet don't...

Hey Rat Rod guys and gals out there... I left my govt job in January 2023 so I am down to working part at the local Home Depot...so like 25 to 30 hours a week...3 days a week... So I am out in the garage at lot more but I find if I am away from it for more a day or two I get jittery for happy...

Lots of pipe smoke these days...the ole girl is getting there... the floor pan is done on the passenger side...tried to reuse as much old metal as possible... this is the last piece I cobbled in... The first track I went to was in 1965...opening night...I saw this on more than one race...

A couple more hits off the crack pipe... and look what we have...I took the pedal assembly apart...I am not a big person and I have to tell you...these old cabs are so small... Not sure if it is going to work but the amount of times I will drive it...I think we will be fine...the second picture...

Not a cool one but I got it at the speed shop when I was buying the steering shaft and the u-joints...
