    Some people shouldn't

    I tried to do a 4 link rear end assembly in my current heap and I just could never get it to sit square in the chassis no matter what I did...finally called the fine folks at Posie Spring company and bought a leaf spring set up...kinda hard to screw that up...and don't know...the right side...

Been in the same family since 1957...I got the nod to adopt the old man...he is a 1948 CJ2A I named Dave Whitcomb after the owner who in 1957 bought a service station in the Syracuse NY area and kept it until he died... here it is back in...

    When I first me my wife in 2008 she was out in the garage all the time....she sounded like she was into cars a lot more than she really was...then I put a ring on her finger and I don't see her at around the shop any more... She does not care what I do as long as I keep the bills paid...

    Yeah Smalls...I was thinking the same thing...I took stuff apart (tranny hump panels) and decided to try the pedal modification first....if that does not work...I will be cutting into the tranny hump panels for sure...I welded the first panel and I might be cutting that back out if my feet don't...

    Lots of pipe smoke these days...the ole girl is getting there... the floor pan is done on the passenger side...tried to reuse as much old metal as possible... this is the last piece I cobbled in... The first track I went to was in 1965...opening night...I saw this on more than one race...

    A couple more hits off the crack pipe... and look what we have...I took the pedal assembly apart...I am not a big person and I have to tell you...these old cabs are so small... Not sure if it is going to work but the amount of times I will drive it...I think we will be fine...the second picture...

    Not a cool one but I got it at the speed shop when I was buying the steering shaft and the u-joints...
