got back in the garage today chopped the roof 6 inches ,cut the back corners down and stiched it all back together.

Got a start on my new project ,started with a chopped up austin 10 lichfield body,i have started to piece the body together it was a saloon i am making it into a pick up cab.going to use the original frame and modify it,not sure on engine and box yet.

Vauxhall 10 rat rod cheers guys ! Tyres are 8.5 x 17.5 truck radials on adapted truck rims ,they have the offset needed to get past the body without big spacers or a wider axle ,It will put more stress on the bearings but the scimitar axle is a strong axle.

Vauxhall 10 rat rod Had a run out today to try out the gearing on my big rear wheels ,changed them as gearing was far to low and i like the look of the high profile tyres.I stopped to check the wheel nuts and took a few pics.

heater The taps are the original 1935 ones i kept when i replaced the bathroom in our house,the radiator is a display model from a plumbing store,works a treat. cheers for the comments guys. maddad.

got back to it over the last couple of weeks finished the frame repairs and mods then blasted and primed it.pick up a th400 so i got engine and trans mounts made and fitted.somehow got a range rover rad with built in trans cooler to fit in the grill it was tight !started making up the rad mounts...

the way i have the body mounted on the chassis now, when the body is on the floor i still have about 3 inches more suspension travel lower so i can go with a wheel 6 inches taller and still get it on the deck,if that makes sense .bit more done tonight,mm how did i make the doors fit on the...

yes but there is a happy chap inside !.I am going to cut the centre out of the rear rims and flip them so the wheels will clear the body when i drop it on the deck.
