    The tank was one of the first things to be removed from the cab. I will think about it more befor I make up my mind. But not looking to good for the chop top. I am 5'11" and a small cab is a small cab.

    I made a little progress but don't have picks. I think that I am not going to chop the top now. Not enough room it that cab.     Using the charcoal for fuel is a pain. So I built a waist oil burner. This is it during r&d. It is the setup I am still using. Waist oil is free!

    Way to many impurities in the cans. I get my aluminum from work. Mostly old water pumps, aluminum wheels, heads and stuff like that.

    I recon I will start things off with some pics of my first melt. I made a small furnice that used charcoal as fuel. and melted a bunch of cans. (dont melt your old beer cans) It just isnt worth it.

    Yes I used the lost foam method to make the skulls. I also have green sand. But I need to get better at making the molds.

    This is my furnace and some of the skulls I have made. I need to construct a better one but I am doing too many things at one time.

    It is a unit from an old house furnace. I burn kerosene in it. I use the on/off switch and just monitor the temp. Low tech as hell but gets the job done. I use waist oil in my furnace for melting aluminum.

    I bought the eastwood kit about 10 years ago. and over all am very happy. I also made a walk in oven so I can do motorcycle frames.
