here is the truck. its a 41 plymouth cab with unknown bed. has olds rocket 350 up front in an s10 frame. i dont have any pics of the plymouth coupe yet.

you dont want your rear differential yoke straight in line with your transmission yoke. you need some parallel offset in order to keep the u-joints rotating. if not then they will wear pre-maturely and fail.

thank you for the compliment. i did a coffee table in the past with a similar style. i used the cardinal brand copper vein. i did it with a 60% gloss clear over top and it turned out awesome. the bed will see the same coating.

your not the first person to tell me that there may be a possible market for these. i am not building it for the resale value. this will cost me over 700 bucks to build and have powder coated. i would have to sell it for well over $1000 to make it even worth the time. i guess you never know.........

the posts are 1/8th wall 4" and the horizontal rails are 1 1/2 x 1/16" wall. the decorative pieces are all cast iron. they are not structural only decorative. i welded it all up with my MIG machine.

decided to take a crack at building a bed. got the head board done. what do you guys think?

the fenders are the same color as the rest of the car. i think its the shadows from the garage that make them look different. the color is pretty reactive to light. that and the color comes out kinda funky on my digital camera.

what about the 62 valiants? 426 wedge cars? those were to me the first small car huge engine, stripped down cars. what about the gts darts and cuda's? 67 68 69 big block abody cars? as for last muscle cars.... what about the buick grand nationals?
