This is kinda different. Started out as a cruiser, decided I'd rather have a gasser. 57 chev truck straight axle, disc brake set up for the front. 2000 explorer 8.8 rearend, took 3 in out of long side, 31 spline with disc brakes. It's a 3.73 pos, but I'm going through it, new bearings and seal with a 3.27 gear. 400 turbo and a set of 50in ladder bars I made with 3/4 CM heim joints. Engine is different for a gasser. Wanted a lot of HP but this is a budget build, so I bought a 06, 6.0 LS motor. Going with a 88mm turbo and blow thru carb. I'll try and get some pics up, this has been a slow process, money keeps getting in the way, or lack of.

Hope this worked.

Sorry, pic of the wheel and tire is the 15x6 I got for sale. I'm running the same wheel on the front, 15x3 1/2. Trying to find some 15x10 for the rear. Would like a alum slot. Also found a real nice set of wheelie bars from the 70's. I'll try to post updates as I go, but like I said, it's been a slow go. Hope to get to run it some this season and do some street driving.
