Just got back from a 2 week vacation in Alaska . Anchorage, Seward, Soldotna, and Homer. Did some sight seeing and a lot of fishing. Saw Glaciers, rivers, lakes and bears.

Went on a Dog "Sled" ride at the Seavey Kennels. This family has raced the Ididerod for 3 generation and have several wins. They train the dogs in the summer by hooking the up to a wheeled cart and charge tourist to be pulled through the forest. Pretty smart way to make money!!

Seward fishing out of Reserection Bay. Caught Rock fish, Ling Cod, and Silver (Coho) Salmon.

Saw some Bears and some awesome scenery on a flyout trip to Wolverine Creek.

70s in Anchorage, 50s and rainy Seward, 60s in Soldotna. Cooler on the ocean and River.

We brought back over 100lbs of fish.

The place we stay is amazing the Kenai Riverbend Resort http://www.kenairiverbend.com. The owner Dohn is very accommodating. You tell him what you'd like to do and he sets up at the charter trips and guides. All the gear and tackle are provided. They also have camping sites available you can rent an RV in Anchorage and drive down and stay.

Once you catch the fish they have a fish processing house where they clean it, cut it up how you like (filet, steaks, chunks, and portion size) vacuum pack it and freeze it and hold it for you. If you want some to grill just ask them to give you some and each cabin has a grill and kitchen so you can have fresh fish whenever. This is all included in your package price.

When you are ready to leave they will pack it in 50lb airline or FedEx approved insulated boxes and you can take it as carry on or have it shipped overnight to arrive when you are home. Shipping price is not included and is $$$$$.

Everybody needs to go to Alaska at least once. But I guarantee you will go back.
