Hey all,
I'm building a '29 model A, with a this type of suspension:
http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Forged-I-Beam-Split-Wishbone-Front-End-Kit,36172.html
It's going to be mounted on a tube portion of the frame.

I'm heading to Madison WI for a big swap meet, I'd like to check out what I can find before I go and order.
I just want to make sure: The Ford drop axle I Beams, they only fit '37-'48 Ford style spindles...correct? I'm pretty sure of this, but I thought I'd just make sure first.

BTW, any suggestions are welcome. Whether this setup is right or something else is better.

Thanks

Ford I beam axles will take spindles from '28-'48. However, if you want to use 37-48 drum brakes or a Speedway Motors disc brake kit you will need to use the 37-48 spindles.

The Speedway kit is a good set-up and is probable cheaper than piecing it together from used parts.

Thank you for you reply and advice. I didnt find anything, so it looks like I will break out the credit card and start ordering.

Thanks again.
