Carter fuel pump

Ok guys ive been looking everywhere for a fitting for the outlet on my M6101 carter fuel pump. I bought the 1/4 and 3/8 npt adapters and they dont fit so i went down to the hardware store and couldn't turn anything up there either.
Its just a normal old small block chevy but i googled it and couldn't find an answer still. So im turning to the one place i know i can get some good info.

Unless it's machined for an inverted flare fitting (which I doubt) it has to be either 1/4" or 3/8" pipe thread.

Just checked a Speedway racing catalog and it states 1/4" pipe thread.

finally i figured it out. After one more trip to the hardware store i found that a 5/8 - 18 bolt treads all the way in by hand so i came home and checked summit again and there it is 5/8 - 18 inverted flare to 6 an. I hate dealing with fittings lol.

Thanks bob i saw that too. Thats what i ordered the first time, but no luck.
