The Wheels of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree is one of the largest all-volunteer events in the nation and this is our 31st Year of Family Fun & Community Support Join the Fun!
Featuring - Dennis Gage from TV show “MY CLASSIC CAR”

Proceeds benefit more than two dozen charitable organizations and scholarship programs. To date, over $1,000,000 has been donated to local community organizations, over 300 scholarships have been awarded, and hundreds of pints of blood have been given to the Miller-Keystone Blood Center.

The main feature of this year’s Wheels of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree will be a special appearance by Dennis Gage from his TV show “My Classic Car”. Mr. Gage and his crew will be filming the Jamboree for an upcoming episode of this popular TV show. So put on your nice clothes and polish up your car, because you may find your self on TV. Other features on Saturday include a show by magician Tom Yurasits at 1 pm and a show by Dialed Action Sports of BMX bicycle tricks and stunts from 1 – 3 pm.

The Wheels of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree includes over 2,000 street rods and custom cars, 1969 or older. National Street Rod Association Vehicle Safety Inspections are also conducted free of charge during the show.

This year’s Wheels of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree will also feature a nostalgia racecar display. Additionally, check out the original record holding Hill Brothers Red Baron AA/GS ’33 Willys Coupe, restored to its sixties Gasser Wars racing glory. Plus, see Ken Kull’s Red Baron II ’33 Willys AA/GS Pickup, “World’s Quickest and Fastest True Nostalgia Gasser”. Finally, The Black Mountain Hemi Blown, Injected, Straight Axle Period Correct ‘41 Willys BB/Gasser will be there.

Other highlights include the famous Wheels of Time Teeter-Totter where participants test their driving skills by balancing their car on a giant teeter-totter, and special tech sessions dealing with key aspects of car building. The huge flea market and crafts area has 300 vendors, plus a car corral with dozens of cars for sale. The beautiful Macungie Park offers many good food vendors, swimming pool, and playground for the kids.

This year many bands will play at the Wheels of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree throughout the 3 days. Friday evening band and dance entertainment from 7:30pm to 10:30pm will be by the “Left Edge Classic Rock Band.” Saturday afternoon the band stage will include performances by Smith Compound band, Cherry Bombs, and Dibbs Preston & The Detonators. Saturday evening band and dance entertainment from 8:00pm to 11:00pm will be by “Shake Rattle and Soul.” Sunday afternoon will be “Jynx” from 1 to 3 pm.

Many other activities are going on though out the weekend thru the efforts of the Ladies Auxiliary. On Friday, they have planned a cakewalk, bingo, gift basket raffle, and other raffles. On Saturday and Sunday, planned are a Chinese auction, bingo, crafts and guessing games. Sunday has a new event featuring a Kids Pedal Tractor pull open to kids from age 4 to 12 with registration at 11:30 am. and pulls starting at 12 noon.

Some other activities include Friday tours of Vyncrest Vineyard, America on Wheels, Lehigh Valley Zoo, and Country Barn Antiques. Saturday has an auction of merchandise to benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association at 3 pm. This popular event always brings unique items and all proceeds go to charity.

The show opens each day at 7:00 AM. Spectator gate donation is $7 (under 16 free). Bring a non-perishable food item and get $1 off the admission price. Food is donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank, with tons of food donated over the years. All net proceeds from the gate go to area charities and the Wheels of Time scholarship program for young adults.

A special thanks to our long-time Gold Sponsor - East Penn Bank. Also thanks to Silver Sponsors; Blast From The Past Street Rods and Customs, and Poorboy’s World Polishing and Detail Products. We are especially grateful to the Macungie Memorial Park, and the members of the Wheels of Time and their spouses and families for the year long effort that goes into putting on the Rod & Custom Jamboree.
