Yes Doc, that's a '33 Plymouth four door sedan that I'm using as a donor car for the '34 Plymouth coupe and the '34 Dodge Brothers truck. It is in the first position in the shed, in the south-east corner next to the '47 Ford truck.
Dutch, if you mean a photographic tour of the heated shop where the Super Bee languishes, I could do that. Or did you want me to take all of your money and tell you to pick roots all summer for me?

Dutch, even though I live sort of near the city of Grande Prairie, I don't farm the good prairie soil. My farm is in the bush, five miles from the prairie. Every acre that I owned or rented had to be cleared of trees, then broken up, and then root picked. There aren't any roots to pick on my farm anymore, sorry.
I took a few more pictures in the machine shed today. There is some overlap of yesterdays pics.

well.... that`s too bad... :p

how about starting a thread telling us the story behind each vehicle you have in that museum...?
I guess the first truck is not the only one with a cool tale attached [P

I was thinking the same thing. You have enough stuff to start a museum. Great story too. Gordon sounds like he was a good guy.

Don't get me started on story telling. Maybe I'll swing on down to the BS section though.

Gordon could think and chew gum at the same time. He had just got most of a quarter section [160 acres] brushed {cleared of trees with a cat] and broken [plowed], and was probably wondering how he was going to pick all of those roots and smooth down the field. Suddenly, two local boys walked out of the bush, wanting to make a deal. It only took him a few minutes to get an answer to his dilemma.
A few years later, the same big old fellow [named Tiny] that owned the cats and did the breaking, was breaking land for Dad. I walked out to the field and asked if I could work for him. He looked at me for a good minute, [just like Gordon had done] and then said, "I'm going to need a guy in the next area we go to, so you can learn, here on your Dad's place." So I went to work running a D7 Cat pulling a two bottom breaking plow with 24" bottoms. When school started up again in September, I had to quit, but I had enough money to buy a pink '56 Meteor. The following year, when I turned 16, I made it all legal, and went back running the cat again for Tiny.

Here are a few trucks that have been in my past. Pic one is a '36 Ford two ton. pic 2 is a '79 Kenworth that I had for forty years. pic 3 is a '96 Kenworth that I had for 8 or 9 years. pic 4 is a '45 two ton Ford with gravel box, which I have now traded for a wooden grain box. pic 5 is a 78 Ford one ton that was my grain truck for many years, then became my tractor hauling truck for a while. pic 6 is a '69 Ford 850 Super Duty that was my first big truck.
