I'm sorry you'll miss out on an adventure, Torchie.
To fight for your trucker friend, I find myself more afraid of spreading the virus to my friends and family than of getting it myself, and I'm quite sure I wouldn't survive the disease. Maybe your friend thinks like me. Still, I'm sorry you get to stay home and work on the boat.

No worries Mac.
I’m the same and I’m sure he feels that way too. He was just here getting the winch and straps and such and he always wears a mask around me as I do around him and others.
It’s just that going and getting is all a part of the fun for me.
He and the car should be here between noon and one tomorrow.

I know joedoh.
I’m just used to doing all my own stuff like that. I’m usually the helper. Not the one needing the help. Things change.😳

Error on the side of caution. Dozer.

Donor delivery update

The donor Dodge is on it way.
It looks as though the frame isn’t all that it was purported to be though.
I’ll make a better determination once I can lay eyes on it.

Never fails :(

So it seems OI
Regardless of the frame situation I’m sure there is way more then the price paid in usable parts.
I was hoping that I could send the Olds down the road to keep the property clutter to a minimum.
All has yet to be revealed apparently.

Lets hope so.
This is what I do Know.....
First the good.
Engine turns by hand and the radiator is full of anti freeze.
All interior windshield garnish mouldings are there. So is the rear view mirror and sun visors.
Dash is complete and really nice. Plus I have ignitions keys.
Hood is really straight. NO dents.[cl All the hinges and supports are there and work. As well as all hood latching related parts.
Back seat is all there. Grill is darn near perfect.
Rear bumper filler panel is there. Some rust but well fixable.
The lower trunk weather strip channel is there and appears to be mostly intact.
Lots of good interior handles, trim rings and escutcheon plates. Vent windows work and in far better shape then what I have.
One of the rear fender gravel shields is really nice.
To be continued.......

Now for the bad....
Most of the exterior Stainless wind shield trim is there. MOST.:p
The passenger side has a mangled end where some one got antsy taking it off. And the 2 little pieces of trim that cover the joints at the top and bottom of the center post are missing. So I still need those. But I'm closer.:D
The DS rear fender gravel shield has screw hole drilled into it.The DS front fender trim spear That I needed has been cut off.
I haven't gotten down under the car to really check the frame. That may happen tomorrow.
No rocker panel trim either.
Drivers door isn't with the car but will be following later. I knew about that though.

I think you got your money's worth in the hood alone! [cl[cl[cl
Hopefully the frame will work out for you, too.

I agree Bama. No complaints really.

More things to have fun with. Never a dull moment with old cars and other stuff:p
``[P``
That's what one of the guys said when we were unloading it Soltz..:D

Curiosity got the better of me. Put on the rubber Gloves,Respirator and eye protection. Going in for the deep dive.
many trowels and floats. 5 tire irons.:eek:
a few Dodge related parts and a bunch of not Dodge stuff.
Trunk floor is in better shape then I thought it would be .
I can work with that.:D [cl
