Being a summer turkey farmer kid I find it normal. Man and turkeys dressed in formal black. Probably checking the flock for overnight mortality before going to church.
BTW, that's the way we raised them. Out in the field. Moved them to a new field every Monday. Put up fencing, tear down fencing. We raised traditional black turkeys like those shown because white turkeys had not been invented yet.

White turkeys were invented by my uncle Jake.

Another little bundle of slides and yes, the local Co-Op was often the only general store and fuel distributor in tiny town SK.
