Hey Torchie looks like the same Polar Vortex is going to freeze us out. Good lick with the leg.

Good luck with the new leg. I'm surprised that with your talents that your not making your own.

Thanks gang.:)
My fake leg is about as simple as you can get. Just made with modern materials.
Lots of snow here today and temps are dropping as we speak. I had thoughts about getting out into the shop today but alas.........
Stay warm all.
Torchie

Yeah. It's cold outside so I started to work inside on the grill mods.
Going to recreate what the Good Dr Crankenstein photo shopped.
Mostly self explanatory. Now I just have to make the section with the parking lights 8 inches longer overall.:D[ddd
Stay warm everyone.

Indeed Crank.:D

that looks great [cl
Thanks dutch.
You guys know that I am always harping about how hard it is to build a original custom any more. They have been around so long now that other then making them extremely radical there's not much left that's new to say.
In that vein.....
Literally 30 mins after I posted the grill pics this one pops up on my FB Old School Custom Mopar thread.:eek:
The guy said he did it a while ago.
Sounds like he did it just like I'm going to. 2 grills. He also did it with out welding. Just a few more seams. So I'm happy about that.:D
Now I know for sure it can be done.:D :p [cl
Keep on keeping on.....
Torchie
p.s. now I may have to change it up a bit.:p :D

Thats going to look great Torchie, and it's funny how that timing worked out. Although isn't there an old saying, "when the custom is ready, the grille will appear"....I think it goes something like that. ;)

Thanks for the positive comments gang.:)
Started surgery on the grill today.
Bottom bars first. :D
