Trying to get some local boys together

I got that ambulance a while back and have been having fun.
But I don't know anything about it except what I read online.
Yesterday I met a guy with a half dozen old military vehicles and he suggested I start a web group so that the guys who have these things can get together and share info.
So far I have met 2 men with collections.
And one of them is willing to help me install disc brakes.
Hes a real Mechanic with a BIG shop.
My new group is on facebook and I hope it takes off.
I want us to make convoys to go get ice cream and stuff.

He has a 1939 troop carrier that is sooo cool

He also has a REAL shop truck
The kind with a big crane on the front and the back opens up into a fully equipped machine shop for repairs in the field.

I just met a man that collects armored vehicles and he invited me out to his museum anytime.

I think you need to mount a 30 cal. machine gun on that truck.

decided against wearing a uniform.
I don't like the idea of wearing something that I have never worn for real.
And no way would i wear badges I didn't earn.
But i will wear od clothing
