Default Headlamps

Picked these up at a yardsale for a couple bucks this morning...wondering what they went to? They measure about 11 1/2" across the outside and the lens looks like it wouldve been a 8 5/8". No markings, plates, etc.

Doubt I'll use'em but couldn't pass'em up for 5 bucks.

I wouldn't have passed them up either. I have some 20-something Dodge lights, from a yard sale. They are definitely not that. I have another pair I picked up on eBay that are as yet to be identified.

Would you be offended if this thread was expanded?

The thing about a '39 Ford pick-up is that that ugly grille kinda' grows on ya' after a while.

Not taking anything too seriously.

Quick response time. WOW!

I'll dig out some pics.

Thanks. This'll be fun.

Think I might've found them after a hunt from another source, I believe mine are slightly smaller than these but definitely seem to be made the same.

Look like early Ford T to me. They used a U or wishbone looking bracket to mount on each side of the light.

EDIT: Those on eBay are from the same era, teens through the 20's. Same style mounting bracket.

Default headlights

all T with the U mounts were carbide. There were hundreds off old car companies and they used a few large suppliers.
