Picked up my 4th tire from the shop today.😎

Should work just fine. Did you have it mounted up and use a dial indicator to check for run out?

Not yet Dozer.
This is strictly a mock up to determine if this would even work.
I left the the front shaft a bit long. My chop saw doesn’t do the best cuts any more so I can still have a machine shop make a better cut.
Nothing is welded yet either.
The front yoke is still the S10 yoke. It went into the Mopar trans nicely Due to the fact the the inner hole is much bigger then the output shaft in the 904.
The outer diameter must be close to the same as the Mopar yoke. Strictly luck on that.😎
Crawled into the car and assembled the rest of the shaft.
Just enough angle to let the u joints work properly.
Thanks for stopping by.....

My V8 S10 has a 2-piece driveshaft. It works great with no vibration. My 62 Bel Air also has a 2-piece driveshaft, when I put in the TH350 we shortened it with the method you show. It has worked great for several thousand miles and also has no vibration. The way you did it will be fine.

Need to get the dash out of the donor and into the custom.
Then I can mock up the steering column.
First step is to remove the garnish molding.
The perimieter frame is a one piecer.
The dash on the donor is complete. And I do have the ignition key too.[cl :D

This is what frustrates me.....
I can get something done up to about 90 percent.
Then I need help to finish it.
This points to why I have a project that is more mostly sort of done then done.
End of rant.:eek::mad:

Getting the dash out of the donor. snopro .
It’s hung up some where on the DS. Can’t figure out why.
My legendary paitience is running thin.

I don't know about these later models (and also Dodge, not Plymouth), but some have a support on the back of the radio to the firewall. (Those old radios are heavy beasts!)
The only other thing I can think of would be the cowl vent lever.

Heavy for sure Neto.
I thought that I had undone all the brackets including the cowl vent.
My friend came over to help me and even he couldn’t see this one.
It was toward the drivers side between the radio and the steering column.
Tucked way up in there.
