I think it really makes the rust pop. The dents pop a little too much he he.

I just applied wax and grease remover with a green scotch brite. The hard part was not leaving any lint when wiping the wax and grease remover off. I used a cheap hardened clearcoat from our local auto paint store. They of course told me it wasn't a good idea he he. it was less than $100 for the gallon of clear and the quart of hardener.

Looks great! For anyone thinking about this but with a flatter finish, a flattening agent can be added. I prefer flattening glossy paint over using flat paint. The glossy paints when flattened still have that "slick" feel to them.
