Just curious where you get your body-mount rubber biscuits. I've read a fair bit (on another forum) about the difficulty of finding quality rubber parts that don't go bad in just a few years. (I need to replace the rubber body to frame mounts on my 46 Plymouth. I reused the original ones when I put the body back on back in 80 or 81, and they're badly cracked now.)

Those are Hockey pucks, Neto.
I’ve been using them for years for body mounts. Trans mounts and even on engine mounts.
Easy to drill. They hold up well. They are inexpensive according to IRPOPS he even turns his on a lathe if he needs a different thickness or diameter.
Hope that helps you out.

I tied the side rails to the door sills.
Very solid .
Then I cut the next 2 cross pieces.
I will need a arch over the tail shaft and also one to clear the carrier bearing.
Got started on the first one and I ran out of welding gas.😳
That may be it for a few days. Going to be 80 here tomorrow then on Monday we head over to our daughters to make sure we are all on track for her wedding In October.
Thanks for checking up on me.....
Torchie.

Thanks, I remember now that you mentioned that in the past, but had forgotten.

Got more welding gas today.[cl
Welded up the second arch.[;) [;) [;)
The main floor section is set up with the two arches for the trans tunnel.
Rear of the second arch the floor can go flat with plenty of room for drive shaft up and down movement.
First time ever for me to sit in the car.
I'll let you guys make the vroom, vroom, noises.:p[ddd
Keep on keeping on....

Why couldn't you make the vroom noises, Torchie? Maybe because you were grinning like that you can't make sounds at the same time. [cl[cl[cl[S[P

I’ve got to be careful Mac. Mrs T already thinks I’m going “round the bend.”
Me out in the shop going “Vroom. Vroom” might just be the final evidence she needs.😳
