Crate, I don't show off much, but for you, oh well, I'll break the rule. Here are some wild life pictures.
one. black bear up a tree. I was standing at the corner of my house.
two. two bull moose after rutting season, just talking not sparring. I was in the porch.
three. a bunch of mule-deer.
four. seven moose, from our kitchen window, a rare sight as moose are solitary animals.
five. an elk, taken from the patio deck. Elk are usually herd animals.
six. I surprised this young buck about ten feet from the back door.
seven. two bull moose fighting. a picture from a friend who is a real photographer.
eight. some of the red foxes have a variant colour, black. this one has a cross.
nine. A big beaver, quite a way from any water. This is in our back yard by the garden.

I let this one walk up to me before I spoke to her to halt her. She could smell me but hadn't seen me yet. I was less than 8 feet away....

Damn....nice doggy....!

I had no idea of bears in Fla until I drove through Apopka area and saw the road signs.

But I may have seen one playing shuffleboard at an over 55 mobile home park in Zephyrhills.

Between you and Small i just cant comprehend this easily.. i Showed your pix to Mrs Crate equally wowed ! she loved the fox wanting one for a pet,, i dont think she realises foes and her chickens wont play well together!!

We have foxes living in some bush area across the road from us. They're really cute, but so destructive and dirty. Our dogs got fleas last year from them and in the spring they leave dead bird pieces all over the yard. As a result I try to chase them away with different methods of deterrent, but it's a bit difficult.

Two foxes in each of these photos :)

This is better than rat rods.

The older I get, the more I appreciate nature and wild animals. I love to sit in my kitchen and look out the French doors toward the back side of my property. I can't seem to take the heat anymore, but those critters don't even notice.

Hello in there...

Great shots!

I have armadillos all over the place. And holes in my yard. They seem kind of use to people...and even my dog. My cats don't know what to do with them so they stare at each other.

Would rather have the deer.

.

Our bees got here Monday evening. Sometime on Monday night or Tuesday early morning our bear paid a visit.
The bees most likely had barely begun to make any honey.
