The shape looks great, maybe the doors would look better lengthened a bit but it's hard to say.

You've got some rare parts but nothing complete. If you make something of it, you'll forever get people saying you ruined something, without having any idea what you started with. I get the same sometimes with my 46, but nobody wanted it when I found it.

Don't worry about rarity or what others think. If the build sparks something in your imagination, build it.

LOL thanks for the support guys ... I consider my butt well kicked ...

really dumb thing is . i have done some really cool stuff for other people over the years , but have an inane sense of failure with my own stuff.. yet moments of clarity the job is easy.. mrs Crate says i think too much

yep i wonder about door length as well .. currently body is 5" shorter than a 27 ford. which i think has good (or popular ) design, The shorter Willys rear gives the impression of being 'bobbed', if i compare from firewall to behind the seat i get 53" or 53.5" (dodge tub v ford tub),

my doors are around 2" shorter (at 20 1/4") than Model A, eye line over the tub - while the cowl is shorter than a T the cockpit is a little longer, hence slightly higher screen option may shift that veiw

i can move the 1/4s back - that could accentuate the doors - which i could lengthen .. having said that i kinda like the bobbed rear , considering incorporating a 2'' tube bumper in the rear panel down low.. to give a little stretch..

pic is 27 willys whippet roadster .. consider fenderless for this project

i could go on..

I don't know if this helps, but I found body dimensions for a Model A Roadster (or any A body style) here: https://www.mafca.com/tqa_b_measurements.html

I also found this for a T: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/80257/83826.html?1236101802

Thanks !! yep being looking at similar myself.. great baseline!!

think some of the problem is i need to remember none of my stuff is ford, yet almost trying to replicate one. Working with early and later 20's parts which in their time were completely different models and brands ..

sigh
