heres a few update pics.i got the cab blasted and ive been working on the metal work on the cab.finally got most of it done.theres a little more work on the doors and the grille and i should be ready to do some body work.

my buddy talked me into doing body work so ive been plugging away

and my 505ci bb mopar is about done,waiting on smith bros pushrods now,4.25 stroke crank .030 over bore,eddy rpm heads cleaned up,cut to 72cc chambers for 10.5-1 comp and a lunati voodoo .588 lift mech cam,harland sharp rockers.should be 600+ hp and around 630 ftlbs trq

thanks!the steering box is out of a 69 dodge dart.
i took last week off and finally got all the body work and wet sanding done.its getting painted SEM hot rod black this Saturday.my buddy had a lizard skin gun and some ceramic lizard skin i sprayed the bottom of the cab with it and bought and sprayed the sound deadner inside the cab and box.weird MESSY stuff.you gotta mask everything.i knocked down the rough spots on the bottom of the cab with a da and sealed and painted it.turned out pretty good.

today i got to looking at my headlight and starter/ignition switch i got from speedway and they just use ugly nuts to hold them on and the knobs didnt match.after a couple hours on the lathe i made some bullet knobs to go with everything else and some nice ring nuts.i dont know how i went all those years without a lathe,best tool i ever bought.

new 505 is in,have to massage a few things with all the new goodies,and i got the cab bolted on and started laying out the wiring

awsome builded looks like you have some racing stock cars back ground and the chassis looks great red and black can't go wrong keep us updated on pic's
