216 or 270

So I was reading that the GMC 3100 came with a 216. While cleaning the motor up I found a couple of stamps. Attached is a picture. It has B270 stamped on it but it also has 213477. I honestly don't know they all mean and I was hoping you could let me know what motor I have. One other question and the other picture I attached is of the plate with what I assume is the vin. I thought this was a 1948 but in trying to decipher the codes and numbers I think it is a 1950. Can you tell by looking at this plate what it is?

2136477 is a GMC 228 head number.

B270 is the date code...

B = February
27 = day of month
0 = year of decade (1950)
