If it's a 1947 it's a KB (the number after the KB, KB-1, KB-2, KB-3, depends if it was a half ton or 3/4 ton). The early trucks like this were K's, and they had less stainless on the front. Yours looks like a K front end as there's no holes for all the stainless I can see.
