I was told our state signed into law that you will not be able to buy a gasoline vehicle as of 2030 in our state. I haven't dug into it yet but it wouldn't surprise me

California was first with that stupid idea, other blue states are following. They don't have enough electric to keep from having blackouts now, don't see adding a couple of million battery cars will help that.

A couple thoughts:
This would have been fun to watch.

Pretty sure its totaled.

It will be easy to salvage the copper.
The tow truck driver needs a skip loader.
They'll take my gas powered car when they pry my cold dead hands off the steering wheel.
When gas powered cars are outlawed, we will be outlaws!
I could go on and on...

Electric vehicles have their place. Just not my place. Not yet anyway.

I see lots of Teslas around here. The owners must not ever go very far.

i'm just glad I won't be around for an all-elec world! Gimme a rumblin' V8 powered by decayed dinosaurs any day!

BoB

Yep crazy times about the driverless tesla down under.. apparently all rescue personal have been told to earth an elect car before saving occupant's..

On a positive note a recent article in a Contracting magazine suggested that mining is going to increase by around 20% to cover the materials used .. good time to invest

I saw a pic of a new aluminum bodied F150 that burned behind a motor home sometime last year that looked about like that BMW. It was not much more than a puddle of aluminum with some steel rails down the middle of it.
