I’ve got a set of wheels just like that, saving them for a 70’s style build one of these days.
Really, it’s not that bad a looking ride. Much better than a Pacer! I could see it with a turbo 4 and fwd, not so sure on 4x4 . AMC wasn’t afraid to push the envelope , I think like some of their other designs it was ahead of it’s time.
