Yep. VW powered. Built by VW Paradise in Cali. They run it in Pro Mod class.

That sorta sucks. They chopped up a split window. If its a 53 or 54 that makes it even more rare as they were a mixture of split window and oval windows.

not to be a a$$, but to me a bug is a bug, never though of them as collectors.

The split rear window Bugs are rare and highly collectible. The oval rear window ones are next up, followed by everything else. Not many of the splitty's were imported, more ovals came over than splittys.
