There are many ways to skin this cat, but here's how I do it...

1) Upload your image to the forum.

2) Preview your reply and open the thumbnail full size.

3) Right click on the full size image and select copy image address or copy image URL (Could be one or the other, depends which operating system you're using.)

attachment.php

4) Go back to your reply/post box and select this icon...

attachment.php

5) This box will pop up. Delete the highlighted http://

attachment.php

6) Paste your copied code into the box and hit OK.

attachment.php

Done! The address or URL is now converted to IMG code, just like Photobucket, Flickr, etc. Add or remove text as you wish and submit.

Thanks, Doc. Now if you post instructions on how to post pics starting from square one. I did it a couple times but can't get the formula back.

Thanks, Doc. Now if you post instructions on how to post pics starting from square one. I did it a couple times but can't get the formula back.

- When you start your reply or start a new thread, enter a few characters... meaningful or not.

- Scroll down and select "Manage Attachments".

- Pick from your files and upload. (One at a time for each "Choose File" button in the window... if you want multiple pics in the post.)

- Close the window when it's finished loading your file(s).

- Preview your post and continue as described previously.

- When you have the IMG code(s) placed, delete the nonsense characters, or add meaningful text, above, below, or between the IMG code(s) without disturbing the IMG code(s).

- Preview as many times as necessary to get your text and IMG code(s) arranged to your liking.

P.S. I've found using the "Quick Reply" icon (shown below) does not include "Manage Attachments" on the page...

In this case, select the "Go Advanced" button and "Manage Attachments" becomes available.
