after lots of very successful load development that resulted in proven sub 0.5 MOA accuracy
i decided to take off the benchrest forend and make this lil gun more field use friendly.
but i couldnt decide on what i really wanted.
this is what i came up with.
traditional wood on a vintage receiver with a custom bull 1-8 twist bbl fitted with a witt machine muzzle brake.
now to take it out and play!

.223 rem and a vortex viper 6.5-20x scope

when i ordered the custom barrel.
i specified a 16 1/4 incher so that i can legally stick a buttstock on it and have a carbine.
sometime id like to find an original one for it.
they look really classy

since i can hit dimes at 200 yards with this.
with decent wind conditions i bet a 500 yard prairie dog isnt out of the question.
i have some tannerite exploding targets i bought just for this build.
i want to set them up starting at 300 yards and work farther until i cant hit em anymore

I think I have one.
It's hard to tell when it goes off because it has almost zero recoil.
The long heavy barrel and the muzzle brake work together to turn this rifle caliber pistol into a *****cat

man im very impressed !!!! initially I thought it was more a creative ppeice.. but 7.62's with that little recoil ( barely rattled the can on the end of the bench! )...

one day when I get the states I just might invite myself over for a few shots...
