carb falling apart with this modern gas... any help ???

Are all the stations strictly ethanol up there now? In Va we can still find fuel without ethanol. We still even have a few stations that carry Cam2. I'd shop around and see if I could find a station that sells gas without ethanol.

I pretty stoked about this build!!! Resident Honda guy at your service!

    Another nontraditional build...

Thanks.... Throw a head from a d16z6 and it'll boost the compression. Finding internals for the d15's is a little tough. Most people step up to the d16's. If you need any help just hit me up! I'm gonna try to be around more often... Its a little more ratty it looks, especially if you line it...

    Another nontraditional build...

Unfortunately she sat like this all winter. I dropped oil pressure in the motor and destroyed a turbo... :( But where there is death, there is also life... So I scored a a/r50 garrett turbo and along with some other go fast parts along the way... I have a to-do list a mile long for this year but...

    Another nontraditional build...

On with go-fast parts!!! I quickly yanked the motor out of 98 Civic which had been built and after a few dollars, some elbow grease and ingenuity, I wire tucked the bay, made the engine run like a scalded dog and was getting about 210 horses out of the lil 4 banger...

    Another nontraditional build...

I know I only pop in to shake things up.... buuuuuuut in a general love of cars and rust... I'll share. So lets recap... In January of last year I picked up what was supposed to be a daily... Didn't know I was picking up a semi-rare very sought after Honda... 1990 Honda CRX Si. Factory mpfi...

98 Civic rebuild... Yes, 98 Civic...

I've got a source on some either laminated safety plexi or lexan. All windows will be done in one of these except for the roll up windows on the doors. As far as the rear window goes.... I plan on ditching it and installing something like....

98 Civic rebuild... Yes, 98 Civic...

Hope y'all don't mind if I bump my old thread... But since I already basically have a build thread for this car no sense in starting another... Plans for this year (as soon as I take care of a few bills) are to chop the top, air ride, 14x10 +12 offset steelies, and french the entire rear of...

    Round 3... Fight!

Uhhhhh.... The Civic is a 98 hatch. d16z6 engine code 1.6l 16 valve sohc vtec Mild port and polish on the head and valve grind ARP headstuds Forged 75.5mm aluminum pistons w/ hastings rings Clevite bearings throughout Scat forged rods w/ ARP bolts Ported throttle body Engine bay wire tuck...

    Round 3... Fight!

I prefer FI because I get good MPG and can make decent power. The Civic is actually my power maker. I haven't had time nor money to invest in the CRX engine, yet. Maybe one of these days when I have a shop with a level floor I'll put the toys aside and actually build something. As for now, I'll...
