The only thing missing seems to be the driveshaft.... Lots of rot though, floors are toast, cab corners rusted out. Rear fenders/running boards are pretty well rusted. Door hinges not well... All stuff that can be put right in time. Flattie/trans/banjo rear, steering, suspension all intact...

And so it has arrived.... Probably the first time in 67 years it will rest inside with a proper roof over its head. We originally had bought a 41 and 47 cab with misc. pieces and parts... No titles or paper, but found this instead..... Complete. Funny, my Son originally had bobber/rat rod...

Thanks Maverick... Been in to GTO since mid 70's. my first car was a hand me down 65 Tempest. Then I bought my first 67 in 1975... For $800.00... Wrecked it, bought the white high boy a year later... For $1200...! The third (hopefully final) the gold one...i brought out of Cali 2 years...

Here are more GTO pics... The gold one is actually my 3rd ... The white high boy was a 66 with a straight axle/leaf spring setup...from back in the day...sold that car 30 years ago... Been trying to find it ever since... Can't seem to attach more than one photo... Sorry...think file sizes are...

OI...not the original color. Repaint about 6 years ago (before I got it). Originally Silver Glaze. California car... Rust free... Numbers car except for intake and carb.

Chicago (pt2) Thx all.. Basically bought sight unseen out of a field in South Dakota..guy said it was a 47 Ford...we actually got 2 bodies, a chassis, a flathead, some extra fenders and grills for 1k. Figured we could build something out of it... Thanks for the info and help...
