    On-off-On again project

On again project ... Made a few changes to the motor, got the front shocks mounted, finished painting the frame and the rims. Starting to get the body/cab ready for intial fit, to see where I can setup body mounts. Picked up some John Deere Blitz black paint for the cab once its finsihed...

    On-off-On again project

Made some progress finally, removed the 1947 Willys wagon body today, getting the frame ready to receive the 52 Ford F5 cab, chopped 3 inches. Will try and channel the body to get it sitting low. Rat Project changing plans

Present build is a a 52 Ford F5 cab on a S10 frame. The S10 front-end will look ugly, so I've been looking for other frames to use. Came across a 47 Willys with rebuilt 283 and the frame has been renewed. Now because the Willys is looking way too good, I have to decide whether to put the 52 F5...

    52 f1 roof chop

Chop and Frame ... Nice work on the chop, Roddguy. Your F1 is taking shape. Originally I wanted to cut more than 3 inches, but in order to get my VIN and safety to legally drive the F1, I stayed within the requirements the DMV issues. What frame do you have under your F1, it looks custom built...

    52 f1 roof chop

Here's a few pics of my roof chop being put back together. I'm by no means an expert, but with a little work on my own, I'll make it happen. I re-enforced the cab with some angle iron, then measured several times before cutting. 3 inches came off. I had to cut the top into 4 pieces to fit the 4...

    Hi everyone

New guy here, I'm from Wpg, MB Canada. Looks like a great site you have here. I'm presently building a 52 F1 rat rod onto a 87 S15 frame. This week I chopped the top 3". I have a 86 302 Mustang motor going in after more of the body work is underway. I'll post some pics later. iroc666 (john) :)...
