i dont think there is anything wrong with using a s10 frame but i am kind of bias also with the air bag thing here is my project with both. http://www.ratrodsrule.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7377 i do agree about only using a ifs on cars or trucks that will run fenders if you want fenderless then...

thanks for the comments guys it will be painted probably next year leaning towards one of the dark purples from hot rods flats mainly pushing to be able to drive it this summer
and as requested how i mounted the cab to the frame
front is just bolted through the stock cab mount to a hole i drilled in the frame with rubber washers the back for the cab i drilled a hole through the cab and frame and used the mount in the last pic down through the cab and bolted
added a fuel cell
rear suspension all welded in
shifter and steering column in
front all mounted running boards resting in place and bed mounted with fenders on
thought i would give an update some things have changed and it is looking like a complete truck

my brother cutting the stock tabs...
no you dont use them because a air chock is not designed to support the weight of the car and give it a horrible ride i am running slam specialties re6's up front and re7's in the rear
suicidedoors.com is a good place to buy from i get alot of my air bag parts from them i would not ever use airbagit.com they sell cheap stuff and i know of alot of people that have had problems with there stuff you could also check out airbagparts.com
i know i was moving right along and forgot to grab them befor i started right after my brother took thoes pics i went and got the safty glasses
and no i will not be running front or rear bumpers
got some more work i swaped out the rear axle for one out of an envoy so the bed sides will clear the tires then i started to cut the bed to shorten it and fix rust in the pics the bed is resting on jack stand so it is alittle off but you get the idea of how it will look
