Well we are back at it. Found me a 58 chevy fleetside so we decided to get to work. We got the frame stripped and blasted. Mustang frontened and fourlink rear. Air ride all the way around. Good thing I am working on a 56 Chevy hotrod. All the old parts can go on this to save a little...

My wife was chasing me around with the camera the day before the plate was put on. Took it on a little cruise around the ranch. I am thinking of chopping about 3" out of it.[;) It will never be done.:cool:

FINALLY GOT THE TITLE AND PLATES. DROVE THE RAT HOME TODAY FROM THE SHOP! Handles pretty good!:D:D

Shifter, windshield, and new steering wheel are in. Time to go get this thing inspected/registered tomorrow. Gonna be a fun weekend.

Just got the seats and belts installed. Thanks for the great work from MG Upholstery in San Antonio, TX. Gives it the "old school" look. I get my windshield back tomorrow from having glass put in, and then we are ready for the inspections. ROAD READY.....BUT NEVER FINISHED!!!!

Well its been a while but she is almost road worthy. All I need is a seat, seatbelts and a windshield and we are rolling......and a title. I can't get a bonded title because I don't have a VIN number or motor number. Ideas???? I'm in Texas.. Added a few pics. I cleaned up my whitewalls...

Finally cut all my panels to box in the back of the bed and installed the fuel tank. Dang that took some welding. If anyone knows where to get some good compressors/tanks/solenoids for my bags, shoot me the info. Time to run fuel lines and electrical.

YO!!!! It's been a while. Well, I got my bill of sale and took the girl to get weighed. Truck weighs 2,020lbs. I ran my brakes and mounted my pedals last week. I need to get my appraisal from my buddy that works at a dealership, and then off to get my bonded title. I have a title company...

As soon as you help me with my bonded title! I just got off the phone with the guy. This is going to be a great experience!:confused:
