    Welder status

If you know your welds are penetrating then you are ok. I did my frame with a gas 110 welder. On thicker steel you might have to build up some heat. People also crap talked my welder. If you wanna be totally sure you can bevel the spot your gonna weld to assure penetration.

    27 model T Tudor build.

Thanks a lot it hasn't always been easy but it's been very fun! I fit the doors today. I cut the first door a half inch too much:eek: but it was an easy fix.

    27 model T Tudor build.

Thanks everyone. I didn't want the roof super low so I started at four inches and went from there. 5 inches is where I liked it. I'll be working on the rear window and the doors today.

Haven't messed with the T in a while because of overtime at the firehouse. I was able to make some progress this week. One for motivation.

    New truck.

Thanks for the help. It has just about perfect caster angle. And no death wobble. From what I gather the idea was that the shocks were to help the steering wheel return to center after turning. It did not work at all. Just made it harder to steer. Drives very nice without them.

    Welding galvanized metal.

Yeah the animals should be ok too as long as the smoke isn't lingering around. I would plasma cut galv all day long no respirator or anything with no problems until those fans broke.

    Welding galvanized metal.

I used to weld and cut galv for a living. Use a respirator and weld in a well ventilated area. My fans broke once in the shop and I ended up with a chemical pneumonia. So don't breath the smoke. But I wouldn't pass on the cheap metal.

    New truck.

Ok thanks for the info. If that is the problem what would be the real fix for that? I assume the shocks are the "band aid" fix.
